This app ("Aussie Citizenship Test Prep") is an independent study tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Australian Government or the Department of Home Affairs. This policy describes exactly what the app does and does not do with your data, matching its actual code (version 1.0).

Summary

• The app collects no data. Your study progress, answers and settings stay on your device.
• There is no account, no sign-in, and no analytics or advertising SDK of any kind.
• The app does not track you across other apps or websites.
• The app itself makes no network requests. Everything it needs — questions, notes, flashcards, explanations in 9 languages, and the dated facts it uses (such as the application fee) — ships inside the app and is updated with app updates from the App Store.

What stays on your device

Everything about how you use the app: which questions and cards you've seen, spaced-repetition scheduling data, mock test attempts and scores, your chosen explanation language, your exam date, your state or territory, and app settings. This is stored locally in the app's own database. If you back up your iPhone or iPad to iCloud, this data is included in that device backup like any other app's data — the developer does not receive a copy. Deleting the app deletes this data.

Things you can choose to do

• Report a problem. "Report a problem" (on a question, or in Settings > About) opens your own e-mail app with a pre-filled message: for a question, its ID and the content version. Nothing is sent unless you press Send in your e-mail app. If you do, the developer receives your e-mail like any other e-mail — including your e-mail address — and uses it only to answer you and to fix the content. You can ask for your e-mails to be deleted at the contact address below.
• Open a government web page. Settings > About links to the Department of Home Affairs pages for the current test rules, the Our Common Bond booklet and the online practice test. These open in Safari; the Department's own privacy policy applies there.

Children's privacy

This app is rated 4+ and does not collect personal information from anyone, adult or child.

Advertising, analytics, and tracking

None. There is no advertising SDK, no analytics SDK, and no cross-app or cross-site tracking. The App Tracking Transparency prompt is never shown because the app does not track.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes — for example, if a future version adds an optional online feature — the updated version will be published at the same URL with a new effective date at the top, and the change will be described in the app's "What's New" notes before it takes effect.
